Like many other parents I’m unexpectedly in the deep end of home schooling for the first time, trying to find a way of fitting it around work and containing it within the physical and mental confines of isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.
I now spend many hours of trying to keep up with the leaning plan set for my daughter. Work occupies the remaining time, fitting around meals, tidying, government-sanctioned exercise and food shopping, planning the next day’s home school, and trying to teach my mum to use Zoom!
